Youth Summer Missions Project '08

 We're
helping you to
BEAT
your summer boredom and to get involved in
important missions work!
 This
trip will be very similar to the trip that
we have taken to the Appalachian Mountains
of Tennessee & Kentucky. Only trade the
"umpteen hour" drive for the mere 25 minutes
it takes to get to Ruskin. We will be
staying, ladies & guys, in two separate
homes according to gender.
The cost is
only going to be $50
but we are
going to be accepting donations to make up
the difference. We wanted to make this
trip as affordable as possible.

What To Bring:

 Backyard
Bible
Club
 Christ
Community Church of South Shore and Christ Presbyterian
Church invite you to take part in their Backyard Bible
Clubs. We will be leading games, crafts, and Bible
Stories in an effort to help get other families involved in
our church
plant.
The purpose
is to
 serve our community by sharing the love of Jesus
with the
kids in our community. To introduce families to Christ
Community. To
provide a positive mission experience for the
youth from Christ Presbyterian Church.

What
is
a
Backyard
Bible
Club?
 Similar to a Vacation Bible School, but on a much more
personal level. The club consists of crafts, games, food,
bible lessons, music & fun in one of your neighbor’s homes.

ELSE
Will
We
Be
Doing?
In addition to the BBC we will also be doing a couple of
community service projects and also taking a couple of days
to hang out and fellowship to do some fun things as well.
What
Other
Benefits?
 Lots of
community service hours!
Yes, you heard right, This is the way to get a bunch
of service hours out of the way. We will be giving you
from 6-8 service hours per day.
Missions
is a great way to show compassion and caring towards
others!! We are even given a Biblical Decree from
Jesus to "Go and Tell" Everyone!
